Llewellyn Journal - 2006 Spring Love Predictions

Romantic influences look good for most of the zodiac signs this spring. Others may not fare quite as well. But not to worry, Cupid has a plan for each and every one of us!

Here’s my spring love forecast for 2006.

Aries: It’s now or never when it comes to commitment, for many Aries. Rams are either taking a giant leap of faith forward, making a long term commitment, or they’re ending the relationship all together. With either route they take, there will be some challenges to overcome. Perhaps it’s a long distance relationship? Or maybe the object of their affection is in the process of ending another relationship or healing from it? Regardless of the issue, from June 2nd and long into the summer months, the Arian focus is on romance and pleasure. So enjoy this time and use it wisely. Cupid’s in your corner these days.

Taurus: You’ll love being in love this spring. Afterall, this is one of the best times in your life for love and commitment. An eclipse around mid March could bring in a new love or help cement a relationship you are already in. Around the 4th of July, you’ll see fireworks in your love life too. Taurus may decide to marry or at least take a step closer to commitment. If you are already attached, you and your partner will be getting along quite well. It’s easy to fall in love all over again and you’ll probably learn to appreciate one another more than ever. If you are thinking of ending a long term relationship, think again! You have the opportunity to re-ignite some passion. If a relationship is truly over and you are clear about moving on, you will find a new love before the year is over.

Gemini: The full moon on April 13th falls in the fifth house of your solar chart, which could help create new romance or merely produce a casual fling. Whatever the case, single Gemini need to be “out and about” this spring, if they truly want to meet someone new. I have always joked, “you’re not going to meet anyone sitting home, except the pizza delivery guy!” This is not necessarily the big year for commitment for Gemini although many will chose to marry. Spring 2006 is more apt to be a time to allow love to blossom and grow. It’s a period to have fun, date around, meet new people and enjoy a spring romance. However, whoever you meet now could easily lead to a deeper, more meaningful relationship if you are still a couple by the end of 2006. 2007 is your best year in over a decade to get married. If already attached, spring 2006 offers you can chance to put the “fun” back into your relationship and create more romance.

Cancer: The month of April is sweet with a Venus/Mars/Jupiter trine in water, April 15th. You’ll attract emotional, sensitive types, who are ready to fall head over heels in love. With abundant Jupiter in your solar fifth house all year, it’ll be easy to meet new romantic interests. While Jupiter is retrograde March - July, it is quite possible that someone from your past could waltz back into your life and ask for another chance. The full moon on May 13, in the sign of Scorpio, could also usher in a new relationship. Look for a Taurus or Scorpio to steal your heart. If you’re married or already committed to someone, July is a wonderful month to spend more time, making memories. Plan a long distance trip before the 4th or the very last weekend of July (when Mercury is direct then). Whether you are single or spoken for, there will be lots of new “attractions” this spring. If married, you may be flattered by the extra attention but need to be careful of getting involved with someone else.

Leo: Because of Saturn’s heavy influence in Leo’s life until September 2007, many relationships will be challenged to see if they can stand the test of time. If you’re a single Leo, you will be introduced to a new love interest through a family member. If you are in a casual dating relationship, you could decide it is best to move into together before you make a martial commitment. It would be best to make a deeper commitment a year down the road rather than rushing into marriage before the fall of 2007. You are undergoing major changes in your life, your thinking process, your likes and dislikes. Therefore what you need and expect from a lover will likely change. Many of you will end an important relationship this spring and possibly this year. Regardless of what direction your life takes, know that you are getting rid of what you don’t need and keeping the relationships that are the most valuable.

Virgo: Expect the unexpected is the motto when it comes to relationships this spring. Uranus is opposite your sign and because Uranus is such a slow moving planet, you will still be experiencing twists and turns in your personal relationships along with lots of surprises. For some early degree Virgos, those born in August, you may have already gotten a divorce, ended a bad relationship or met someone absolutely amazing and are in the process of making future plans. For those, Virgos born in September, you’ll be making necessary changes this year and for several, in fact. You see, Uranus is the planet of change. If there is something that needs to change in your love life, Uranus will make sure you take care of it. If you don’t improve the quality of your life or your relationships, Uranus’ energy will cause something to happen to push you off the fence. If you are single now, expect to meet someone this spring. If married, you must seek new ways to increase the happiness in your partnership. The eclipse in mid March will offer insight as to how your love life will pan out in the months ahead.

Libra: Spring is usually a great time of the year for Libra’s love life, because a majority of the planets are in the 7th solar house. It is a fine time to meet someone new or move forward in a current relationship. The big news for Libra is the eclipse on March 31 and how it create major influences in your love life. If single, you should put yourself “out there” to meet others. You could fall madly in love. If attached, there may be problems or concerns that need to be addressed with your partner and many of these concerns may have something to do with the issues you were dealing with last fall, especially in October and November. You may experience some stressful situations with a partner due to his/her job and career issues. This period lasts past the spring and into 2007 but overall, you should be able to work though any problems. If you feel it is time to end a relationship, the eclipse will give you clues as to what, how, and who you’ll be dealing with.

Scorpio: With Jupiter kissing your sun sign until late November, this is the perfect spring to fall hopelessly in love. If you’re a single Scorpio, this spring is a fine time to meet the man or woman of your dreams, especially in late April and most of May. The new moon in Taurus on April 27th offers a chance meeting. Around that time, any relationship you’re involved in takes on a new meaning and you will understand the direction it is headed by the full moon on May 12th. With lucky aspects all year long, you shouldn’t have a problem drawing great people to you. It’s a wonderful year to get married, settle down, start a family, and yes, fall in love! If you are attached, you’ll find new ways to rekindle the romance. If you are one of the few Scorpio who are considering a spilt, like Nick Lachey (Jessica Simpson’s husband), you will do just fine and have no problem meeting someone new.

Sagittarius: From mid-February through early April, Cupid’s got his bow and arrow aimed right at you! If you are single, it’ll be easy to meet someone during these times. In fact, you may have more than one love interest to choose from. You will find it’s easy to fall in love and the focus will be on relationships. If you have thought about ending a long term relationship, this is also the time you may take action and do so. However, there’s likely to be another guy or girl whom you find attractive too. Sag will have options! You will certainly not be alone unless you choose to be. For married Archers, there could be some heated battles or you will find lots of energy being put into helping your mate with his or her personal issues. The new moon on the 26th of May is a great time for single and attached Sagittarius to enjoy finding and being in love.

Capricorn: You’ve been through a lot these past several years. It’s about time that you got a break, and this year you will! Life will be easier and love will be better than ever. The lessons you have learned in relationships will be with you for years to come. Many of you have gotten divorced, separated and ended relationships. Others have fought to keep love alive. This year, you actually get rewarded for all of your hard work. Love will be no stranger this spring, especially between April and early June. Late June and early July are good times too, but expect the spring to be the most meaningful. It’ll be easy for you to fall in love with a friend or meet someone special when you are out socializing. Let everyone know you are on the market and looking for someone special. Attached Cappys find their loved ones in sync with their ideas and can easily move forward with plans for a happy future. However, some of the later-degree Cappys (those born in mid-January) may find they are still struggling with a commitment. It should be over soon and you’ll be able to move out and on by late spring and early summer.

Aquarius: It’s ‘make it or break it’ time in your most serious relationships this spring. With the planet Saturn, the lord of karma, opposing your sign until September 7, 2007, most of your relationships will be challenged in some way or another. The strong ones will weather the storm and become more rock solid than ever. The weak ones, those that are supposed to end, will do just that. Married Water Bearers are reassessing their commitments, deciding if they are worth saving. Single Aquarius will be finding new love, however these new relationships are likely to require responsibility. Any Aquarius relationship will be tested. The WaterBearer’s big lesson for 2006 and 2007 is love. So hang on tight! Agree to disagree and don’t make any hasty decisions you may regret later. This too shall pass and you will be a better person because of the challenges you have had to face.

Pisces: The big love aspect for you this spring comes with the eclipse that falls in the 7th house of your solar chart (your relationship and partnership house). This will be an especially interesting spring, most evident around mid march. Eclipses tend to bring changes for us. They create a needed change in our lives. For Pisces this year, that change will be in the area of love. For some Pisces, the eclipse will take a relationship away to make room for a new one. There could be a much needed break-up as well, and even a “make up.” Either way, the writing will be on the wall a few weeks prior to the actual eclipse hitting. So be aware of what’s going on in your life because these specific scenarios will offer a tale-tell sign of what the eclipse wants to bring you. You can usually not predict what will happen on an eclipse. They are like wild cards. But understand, something big will happen. This energy can very subtle at times. Needless to say, this will be a very exciting spring for many Fish.
